Hi Colin es All,

Another spectacular Es-opening indeed and very few radiated energy needed to produce traces! I was aware of these effects on 6 / 2 / 10m, but it came as a bit of a surprise to me on the lower HF bands.

Further to your capture: the source of the (drifting) sinusoidal waveform was 500 mW from a K2 into an indoor 1.5 m diameter loop, about 70 cm above ground level, pointing NE-SW.

If anyone would like to break the mW/km record, I would suggest to do it now, given the ongoing Es.

Hi Knights,

Another interesting E's opening caught here early tonight on 30m, very local
signals seen, High MUF with close (PA/DL + DX ) stations very strong on 6m
also.. fascinating indeed!

A 6m QRPp test before the end of the E's season would be interesting.. but the
timing would have to be right.

I'll join in on the fun tomorrow afternoon and put my MEPT on 30m details on
the Clipboard as always. I hope there will be good Condx and maybe BE could
put on his grabber?

The signals where so strong this is about the best Capture I have..

73 es GN Colin
