    HI Mike, thanks for report.
    It is a 2N2222A base-series oscillator as you find on the ARRL Handbook.
    Usually it is used for overtone crystal but I used is almost in any tx I build (es. 6m and 4m transverters).
    The crystal is an ex-CB.
    After the oscilltor there is a 2N2369A buffer and a 2N4427 final stage for 200 mW out. 

    It seems too much power, so I will reduce it to 100 mW or less.
